Margaret was born on December 10th, 1874 in Live Oak, TX.  Margaret's father was Augustus Sanders Goynes and her mother was Ellen Elizabeth McMurray (Goynes).  Her maternal grandparents were William McMurray and Bridget Elizabeth Fox (McMurray). She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Peter, William, Daniel, Lee, Dot, Viola, Nellie and Nettie.  She was the oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 27 on October 18th, 1902 in Live Oak, TX.
