Polly was born in 1815 in Ireland.  Polly's father was Michael Fox and her mother was Mary McGloin.  Her paternal grandfather was John Fox. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Darby, Michael, John, Patrick, Nellie, Margaret and Bridget.  She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Francis.  She died at the age of 68 on May 28th, 1883 in Live Oak Co Texas.
