Daniel was born on October 31st, 1884 in Cadiz,Live Oak Co, Texas.  Daniel's father was Patrick Dolan and his mother was Mary Helen Torney (Dolan).  His paternal grandparents were James Dolan and Mary (Nellie) Ellen Fox (Dolan). He had six brothers and a sister, named James, John, Patrick, Edward, Gene, Phillip and Marie Ellen.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 81 on September 9th, 1966 in San Diego, CA.
