Robert, known as Bobby, was born on April 4th, 1943. Bobby's father was Joseph (The Ace) William Castoral and his mother was Vera Beyer (Castoral). His paternal grandparents were Vaclav Castoral and Marie Belej (Castoral); his maternal grandparents were Orville Juet Beyer and Helen Spoonauer (Beyer). He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Sonny, Frank, Jerry, Walter, Smokey, Kenny, Vera, Joan, Peggy, Carole, Helen, Kathy and Denise. He is the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.
