WELSH -- Funeral services for Michael W. Cooley, 50, will be at 10
a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Jim Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship
Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.; and
from 9 a.m. Friday.
Mr. Cooley died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in his residence.
A native of Pine Prairie, he lived in the Welsh area more than 20 years.
He was an oil field sales and service consultant for several years. He
was president of B.A.S.S. Federation of Louisiana.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Cooley; three sons, Mathew Edward,
Mark Eric and Casey Ellis Cooley, all of Welsh; and his mother, Mrs.
Louise Cooley of Ball.
