Thomas and Sarah were married on June 9th, 1863.

  Taughboyne Pa Church. Witnessed by James Lowry and James Buchanan. Sarah Lowry signed her name as "Sarah S. Lowry" and he signed his. The fact she used S as her middle initial confirms further that she is the daughter of my Alexander Lowry who married Sarah Stevenson. Also, both her oldest children were named Alexander and Sarah.

They had four sons and four daughters, named Thomas, John, Alexander, Henry, Sarah, Female, Andrew and Elizabeth.

Thomas was born in 1827.

  1901 Census gives his age as 68 = DoB of 1833, born in Raphoe and CofI.

He died at the age of 85 on December 29th, 1912 in Raphoe, Co. Donegal, Ireland. His burial was in 1912 in St Eunans, Raphoe.¹

- Sarah Hayes' age is given as 69 on her gravestone in St Eunan's
  Cathedral and she died in 1903. In fact, her death entry in the GRO, Dublin shows she died in 1904. Sarah Hayes' death entry at the GRO, Dublin, gave her as being of Raphoe, married, 68 years, merchant's wife, died of debility 2 years, cardiac failure, 3 days, cerified. John Hayes, "son", of Raphoe, was PAD. Given as 68 at death in her death notice in the Derry Standard.

John Hayes
John was born on August 22nd, 1867.
