George Lowry
George was born in 1811 in Lower Feddyglass, Taughboyne Parish, Co. Donegal, Ireland.  He died at the age of 78 on August 17th, 1889 in Coolaghy, Raphoe Parish, Co. Donegal, Ireland.  His burial was on August 20th, 1889 in St Johnston Cemetery, Co. Donegal, Ireland.¹

    Death Record at GRO, Dublin says George died 17th August 1889 at Coolaghy, married, aged 78 years, farmer, from "shock from a fall 22 hours certified".  A Letitia Lowry, "niece" was PAD.  This fact is crucial in making George a brother of Andrew Lowry of Carrickbrack, who was the father of a Letitia Lowry.

    LOWRY - August 17th at Coolaghy, suddenly, George Lowry, aged 78 years. 
    His remains will be removed for interment in St Johnston Burying-ground, on to-morrow (Tuesday) morning at ten o'clock
