Andrew was born on July 15th, 1835 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on July 23rd, 1835 in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church, Kilrea Pa..¹   He died at the age of 81 on February 10th, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA.  His burial was on February 13th, 1917 in North Cedar Hill, Phila. PA.

  • Certificate of Death:  Andrew Stewart of 2328 Coral St., died February 10. 1917 of apoplexy and was buried Feb. 13, 1917, North Cedar Hill, Philadelphia, PA.  The undertaker was John W. Conner of 3058 Fkd.  The death cert states that he was a cooper who made ore barrels, his parents were John Stewart and Mary McCachern of Ireland.  The informant was Mrs. Andrew Stewart of 2328 Coral St.   It further states that he was 66 years old and his birthdate was July 11 (no yr given)  It was signed by George H. Truett, M.D.
    
    " Uncle Andrew was buried Tuesday -78 years old.  Was in bed two months with
    hardening of the arteries and clot on the brain but when laid out looked very young.
    Has three nice boys and a daughter Mabel, 24 yrs. old."----Sarah Jane Stewart letter, Feb. 18, 1917.
