William John Stewart

William was born on September 29th, 1881. William's father was Joseph Stewart and his mother was Jane Carmichael. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Stewart and Mary Jane McConnell; his maternal grandparents were James Carmichael and Jane Mayberry. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Joseph, Thomas, Jane and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the six known children.

- 1901 Census living in Upperlands with Wright family and age 18 and not married. He is a Lapper in Clarks.
