William Stewart

William was born about 1829 in Gorton Coolhill, Aghadowey Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland. William's father was John Stewart and his mother was Sarah Craig. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stewart and Unknown Irwin; his maternal grandparents were Robert? Craig and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Hugh, John, Jane and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the seven known children. He died on December 28th, 1909 in Gorton Coolhill, Aghadowey Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland.¹
