Samuel Stewart

Samuel was born on January 31st, 1860 in Movanagher, Kilrea Pa., Co. Londonderry and his baptism took place on March 11th, 1860 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church.¹ Samuel's father was Robert Stewart and his mother was Elizabeth Dinsmore. His paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dinsmore and Margaret Stewart. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Margaret, Jane and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the six known children.
