Robert Stewart

Robert was born in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland. Robert's father was James Stewart and his mother was Betty Fulton. His paternal grandparents were Unknown Stewart and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were James? Fulton and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, John, Samuel and Nancy.

- 1831 Census of Killymuck: Not recorded as head of any house.(too young and I assume not married at this point)

  Possibly the Robert Stewart who enlisted in RIC in 1832, age 21 from Londonderry, then married. #856057. this man died in 1853.

  1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church Records 1825-1932:
  Robert Stewart, Killymuck, was admitted to Full Communion on the 11th of April, 1829- the same day as his brother James Stewart and his wife Charlotte Stewart. There is no record of his wife at this time.
  
  Baptisms of three of Robert and Nancy Stewart's children record that Elizabeth was born 12 June 1834 and baptized July 5, 1834, and an unamed child baptized 22 March 1836, and another unamed child baptized the end of 1837. There are no other recorded baptisms for this family.
