Nancy Stewart

Nancy was born about 1813 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland.

- 1841 Irish Census/Nancy/age 28/Moyletra Toy- taken from daughter's old age pension claim.

Nancy's father was James Stewart and her mother was Betty Fulton. Her paternal grandparents were Unknown Stewart and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were James? Fulton and <Unknown>. She had four brothers named James, John, Samuel and Robert.

- *1st Kilrea Presbyerian Church records: Nancy Stewart is a candidate for Communion in April 1833 in the same class as a John Stewart, Killymuck. William Kirkwood, Doolaghy [Dullaghy] and Woodstown is a candidate for Communion on the 3rd Sabbath April 19th [1835].
  
  Nancy Stewart and William Kirkwood's marriage is recorded on January 7, 1835 by Hugh Walker Rodgers, minister, with Samuel Stewart and John? Kirkwood as witnesses. Nancy Stewart's parents are recorded as James Stewart and Betty Fulton of Killymuck. The baptisms of two of their children: Eliza Jane Kirkwood born June 22, 1838 and baptized July 4, 1838. An unamed child baptized January 6, 1841. Anne Kirkwood born January 8, 1843 and baptized March 9, 1843. The parent's residence in these baptism records is "The Grove".
  Anne Kirkwood married John Paul of Trinaltenagh and filed for an OAP in 1914.
