Mary Ann Stewart

Mary was born on December 17th, 1864 in Gortin Coolhill, Aghadowey Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and her baptism took place on February 8th, 1865 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church.¹ Mary's father was Hugh Stewart and her mother was Jane Hogg. Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig; her maternal grandparents were Rankin Hogg and Elizabeth Perry. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Hugh, Henry, Kennedy, Samuel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Isabella and Martha. She was the eighth oldest of the eleven known children.
