Mary Stewart

Mary was born on April 8th, 1841 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland and her baptism took place on May 16th, 1841 in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church, Kilrea Pa..¹ Mary's father was Samuel Stewart and her mother was Martha McCool. Her paternal grandparents were James Stewart and Betty Fulton; her maternal grandparents were Thomas McCool and Mary "Molly" Marks. She had a brother and three sisters, named James, Sarah, Elizabeth? and Annie. She was the second oldest of the five known children.
