Martha Stewart

Martha was born on December 8th, 1869 in Gortin Coolhill, Aghadowey Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and her baptism took place on March 13th, 1870 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church.¹² Martha's father was Hugh Stewart and her mother was Jane Hogg. Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig; her maternal grandparents were Rankin Hogg and Elizabeth Perry. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Hugh, Henry, Kennedy, Samuel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Isabella. She was the tenth oldest of the eleven known children. She died at the age of 93 on December 6th, 1963.³
