Margaret was born on April 2nd, 1864 in Lismoyle, Tamlaght O'Crilly Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland.1  Margaret's father was Robert Stewart and her mother was Jane Gilmore.  Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah "Sally" Boyd.  She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Hugh, Robert, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha and Nancy.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight known children.
