    1858 GV -John Stewart son of Thomas Stewart, occupied #17 with 23 acres, 20 perches, asessed at £9  a yr. Deleted to Thomas Henry Stewart in 1884.
    
    Deed of Conveyance: July 28, 1875 between John Stewart of Killymuck and Church Temporalities Comm involving 23 acres.
    Deed of Mortgage: 1875 July 28 between John Stewart and Church Temporalities Commission involving 23 acres in Killymuck.  [The Church Temps were the lay commision in charge of properties when the Ch of Ireland was disestablished in 1869.]
    
    I haven't found any church records on this John Stewart other than a mention of him and Joseph in Boveedy Session Record dated May 24, 1842:  Mrs Nancy Campbell of Drumard lodged a complaint against John Stewart of Killymuck for charging her daughter Peggy Campbell and James MCahon of Killygullib with having criminal intercourse and saying he would maintain said slander on her daughter.  She also charged Joseph Stewart for asserting that he would report it. John Stewart of Killymuck in his defense said Nancy Campbell mistook his use of the words "maintain it still".  He offered another's oath to prove it. The accusation was accordingly dismissed.  The church then investigated whether intercourse had taken place by interviewing a number of their friends - the outcome was that they all saw a man and a woman together between 10 and 11 oclock on the night of the 1st of April  as they proceeded to a house in Gortad yet none of them could identify them as Peggy Campbell or James McCahon - and further that nothing improper or suspicious transpired between said man & woman while the witnesses saw them.
