Jane Stewart

Jane was born about 1851 in Movanagher, Kilrea Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland. Jane's father was Robert Stewart and her mother was Elizabeth Dinsmore. Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Dinsmore and Margaret Stewart. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, William, Margaret and Ann. She was the second oldest of the six known children.

- Jane Stewart applied for her pension in 1919. Her parents were found in Movanagher in the 1851 Census proving that they did move from Gorton to Movanagher and were there at the time of Jane's marriage to James Stewart of Killymuck in 1877.
