James Stewart

James was born in 1832 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland.¹ James' father was Thomas Stewart and his mother was Maria Young. His paternal grandparents were William Stewart and Ann; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Young and Mary Campbell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, William, John, Thomas, Sarah and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the seven known children. He died about 1866.

Death Notes
- Is he the James Stewart of Killymuck , laborer, in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church Communicant's roll in 1865-66. He is marked dead in 1866. It is either him or James Stewart married to Elizabeth Fulton.

General Notes
- He witnessed his sister Mary's marriage in 1862.
  
  Can find no record of this couple emigrating or baptizing children. Was he the one in the CRB in 1st Kilrea recorded as laborer of Killymuck with Mrs. Stewart? This James Stewart died in 1866 according to the CRB.
