James Stewart

James was born on December 25th, 1884 and his baptism took place on May 18th, 1885 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church.¹ James' father was William Stewart and his mother was Ann Alexander. His paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Robert, William, Female, Mary, Sarah, Margaret and Jane. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 30 on April 15th, 1915. His burial was in Chocques Military Cemetery, France.²
