James Stewart

James was born in 1806 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland.¹

Birth Notes
- Age 81 at death.

James' father was James Stewart and his mother was Betty Fulton. His paternal grandparents were Unknown Stewart and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were James? Fulton and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Samuel, Robert and Nancy. He died at the age of 82 on February 17th, 1888 in Mountain Twp., Dundas Co., Ontario, Canada.

  1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church Records: James Stewart, Killymuck, was admitted to Full Communion along with Charlotte Stewart on the 12th of April, 1829. The births and baptisms of two children, John and Isabella are recorded. John was born 24 May 1830 and baptized June 3, 1830. Isabella was born 23 March 1834 and baptized 30 March 1834.
  
  1835 Emigration Record: James Stewart, Jr. emigrated to Quebec in 1835 with Charlotte and children, John, age 6, Sareah, age 4 and Mary, age 2. He was listed as 30 yrs. old and she was 26.
