Isabella Carmichael Stewart

Isabella was born on July 20th, 1862 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church and her baptism took place there on September 7th, 1862.¹ Isabella's father was Thomas Stewart and her mother was Mary Jane (Jenny) Johnston. Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Hugh, Mary, Elizabeth and Martha. She was the fifth oldest of the seven known children.
