Hugh Thomas Stewart

Hugh was born on December 14th, 1869 in Carnroe, Aghadowey Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on February 6th, 1870 in Moneydig Presbyterian Church.¹ Hugh's father was Thomas Stewart and his mother was Mary Jane (Jenny) Johnston. His paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Henry, Mary, Elizabeth, Isabella and Martha. He was the youngest of the seven known children.

- a Hugh Stewart, farmer, Gorton Coolhill proved the Will of John Stewart of Gorton Coolhill in 1884. John Stewart died on 13, Dec 1882. Could it be his grandson?
