Henry "Harry" Stewart

Henry was born on March 1st, 1901 in Upperlands, Maghera Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on April 27th, 1902 in Maghera Church of Ireland.¹

Henry's father was James Mayberry Stewart and his mother was Rachel Canning. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Stewart and Jane Carmichael. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William James, Joseph, Anne, Martha and Rachel. He was the second oldest of the six children.

General Notes
- grand nephew of Henry Wright in 1901 Census - age 1 month.
  
  According to "Linen on the Green" he worked for Clarks for over 50 years. The Stewarts had been with Clarks for 3 or 4 generations. One Harry Stewart died in the 1950s and another was given a gold watch for 50 years service in 1972.
