Spencer Stevenson

Spencer was born in 1876 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on June 26th, 1876 in Churchtown Presbyterian Church, Tamlaght O'Crilly Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland.¹ Spencer's father was Alexander Stevens and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Stewart. His maternal grandparents were Thomas "Isles of Lismoyle" Stewart and Mary Anne Gilmore. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, James, John and Rose. He was the oldest of the five known children.
