John Hamilton Stevenson

John was born about 1882 in Killymuck Glebe, Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on April 23rd, 1883 in Churchtown Presbyterian Church, Tamlaght O'Crilly Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland.¹ John's father was Alexander Stevens and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Stewart. His maternal grandparents were Thomas "Isles of Lismoyle" Stewart and Mary Anne Gilmore. He had three brothers and a sister, named Spencer, Robert, James and Rose. He was the fourth oldest of the five known children.
