Samuel Thomas McCaughrin

Samuel was born on May 19th, 1843 in Columbia, Richland Co., SC. Samuel's father was Thomas McCaughrin and his mother was Letitia Lusk. His paternal grandparents were Andrew McCaughrin and Nancy Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Robert Lusk and Nancy McAteer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Andrew, Nancy, Martha and Susan. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 40 in 1883.
