Robert Lusk McCaughrin

Robert was born on September 3rd, 1834 in Columbia, Chester Co., So. Carolina.¹ Robert's father was Thomas McCaughrin and his mother was Letitia Lusk. His paternal grandparents were Andrew McCaughrin and Nancy Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Robert Lusk and Nancy McAteer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Andrew, Susan, Martha and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 61 on January 27th, 1896 in Newberry, Newberry, So. Carolina.¹
