Andrew J. McCaughrin

Andrew was born on October 4th, 1840 in Columbia, Richland Co., SC.¹ Andrew's father was Thomas McCaughrin and his mother was Letitia Lusk. His paternal grandparents were Andrew McCaughrin and Nancy Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Robert Lusk and Nancy McAteer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Samuel, Nancy, Martha and Susan. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 55 in 1895.¹
