Matilda Lyttle

Matilda was born on June 24th, 1875 in , Tipperary, Ireland.¹ Matilda's father was John Shiels (Maghera) Lyttle and her mother was Elizabeth Marshall Lowry. Her maternal grandparents were George Lowry and Sarah Lyttle. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named George, Robert, John, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth, Jane, Anna, Eleanor and Mary. She was the tenth oldest of the eleven children.
