George Lowry Lyttle

George was born in 1858 in Maghera Presbyterian Church and his baptism took place there on April 19th, 1858.¹ George's father was John Shiels (Maghera) Lyttle and his mother was Elizabeth Marshall Lowry. His maternal grandparents were George Lowry and Sarah Lyttle. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Robert, John, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth, Jane, Anna, Eleanor, Matilda and Mary. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
