  • 1858 GV: Robert Lowry, Edymore, 31 acres purchased sometime bet 1838-1858 from Thompson.
    
    Robert Lowry moved to Cavanlee in 1879 and purchased 71 acres from Galbraith Lowther. Source: Overlooking the River Mourne.  In 1901 Census there is a James Lowry, not married, in Cavanlee, age 50 with 7,8 or 9 room house and 12 outbuildings. Living with him is a servent, Fanny McKelvey.
    
    Edymore and Cavanlee were owned by Abercorn - no Lowrys on it according to the Surveys and rent assessment from 1756 until the GV apparently.
