Rachel Lowry

Rachel was born on December 25th, 1861 in Nitshill, (Glasgow) Renfrewshire.¹

- 1871 Census says she is born in Nitshill, (Glasgow)Renfrewshire.

Rachel's father was George Lowry and her mother was Sarah [Trentagh] Morrison. Her paternal grandparents were George Lowry and Annie Orr; her maternal grandparents were John Morrison and Rachel Elliott. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Ann, Sarah and Jeanie. She was the oldest of the six children.
