Mary was born on September 8th, 1867 in Castlefinn, Clonleigh Pa., Co. Donegal, Ireland.1   Mary's father was Robert (Cloghfin, Clonleigh Pa.) Lowry and her mother was Jane Wilson.  She had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Andrew, William and Margaret.  She was the oldest of the five children.
