Martha Lowry

Martha was born about 1830 in Taughboyne Parish, Co. Donegal, Ireland.¹

Birth Notes
- Gives age as 31 in 1860 census and 40 in 1870.

Martha's father was Alexander Lowry and her mother was Sarah Stevenson. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Lowry and Margaret or Mary Rogers; her maternal grandparents were Andrew? Stevenson and Jane Colhoun. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Andrew , John, Alexander, Henry, Elizabeth, Margaret and Sarah. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children. She died on April 28th, 1894 in Philadelphia, PA. The funeral took place on May 1st, 1894. Her burial was on May 1st, 1894 in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Phila., PA.²
