Josephine Elizabeth Lowry

Josephine was born on September 18th, 1847 in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland.¹ Josephine's father was Rev Andrew Lowry and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Denham. Her paternal grandparents were John Lowry and Elizabeth Hamilton. She had a brother named John.

- Source: Mentioned as the only child other than John in her father's obituary, but no name given, just that she was married to the Reverend McCully of Broomfield, near Castleblaney, Monaghan Co.
  
  Rev. James McCully was minister at Broomfield. His sons, Andrew.Lowry McCully., (Captain- RAMC) and W. C.(Private- 2nd Batt, Kimberley, South Africa) McCully enlisted and fought in WWI. Rev McCully was dead by 1914.
