John Hamilton Lowry

John was born in 1851 in Somerton, Australia. John's father was John Hamilton Lowry and his mother was Jane Matthew. His paternal grandparents were John Lowry and Elizabeth Hamilton. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Henry, Arthur, Albert, Samuel, Frederick, Fanny, Mary, Adelaide, Annie, Minnie, Eliza and Charlotte. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 79 in 1930 in Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia.¹
