    Taughboyne Parish Church Vestry Minutes:
    
    June 30, 1808, John Lowry signed minutes with a James Lowry of Binnion and Hugh Stephenson of Legnatraw
    
    April 24, 1810, the name" Andrw" Lowry of Drumcrow is written over with the name "John" Lowry of Drumcrow as part of a committee.
    April 11, 1811, John Lowry of Drumcrow to be guardian of foundlings.
    May 2, 1811, John Lowry signed his name to the Vestry Minutes with Hugh Stephenson and John Colhoun who were the 2 Church Wardens
    
    1815-1816,  a Church Warden, John Lowry signed Vestry minutes but I believe this is John "Henry" Lowry as the signatures of this John Lowry and John Henry Lowry are distinctly different.
    
    Abercorn Rental Book Records:
    The 1811-1833 Abercorn Rental Accounts Book shows two tenants at Drumcrow - each with a separate page in 1811 Andrew LOWRY (folio 145)and John LOWRY (folio 146).  Andrew Lowry's name is scored out (done at some point after the page was titled).  Andrew LOWRY and John LOWRY are each paying rent of £36.19.4 1/2 on Feb 19, 1811 and on Oct 14, 1811.  These are payments for the previous year of 1810.  Andrew LOWRY'S portion is purchased by John LOWRY sometime between the Oct 1811 payment and Mar 24, 1812 for £600 as John LOWRY  is paying the entire rent on March 24, 1812 of £73.18.9. 
    
    We believe that the buy-out of 1811 was occasioned by the desire of Abercorn to end the rundale system at the renewal of the 21 year lease which had just expired.  We know now that John Lowry, Sr., died in 1796.  Andrew's name is on the 1806 survey map as well as the 1796 Flax List.
    
    It is unclear which John Lowry appears in the 1826 TAB, the Abercorn House Book and the 1835 Survey Map.  It may not be this one but John Henry Lowry, his son.  This information is located under his son.
    
    The fact that a Miss Lowry, daughter of Lt. Lowry, died in 1808 at Drumcrow further links the Lt. Andrew Lowry of Pheddyglass with being the Andrew Lowry of Drumcrow who sold out to John Lowry.
