James was born about 1730 in Feddyglass, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal, Ireland.1   He had three brothers named Andrew, Alexander and Robert.  He died about 1786 in Lower Feddyglass, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal, Ireland.
