Gawin (Tullyrap) Lowry

Gawin was born in 1777.

Birth Notes
- Source: St. Eunans Burial Book-age 73 at death in Feb. 1853. He appears to have died two weeks after his son has married.

He died at the age of 76 in 1853 in Tullyrap, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal, Ireland. The funeral took place on February 21st, 1853 in St. Eunans Cathedral, Raphoe.¹

  1820 -The St. Eunans Church of Ireland (Raphoe Cathedral) has 8 Lowrys from Tullyrap recorded in the Communicant's List for 1820-1821. It is possibly this Gawin Lowry's family all being admitted together. There were no other Lowrys on the list. The names are John, Jane, Alexander, Catherine, Thomas, Andrew, William and Robert--Oct 2006--Boyd Gray
  
  I believe the last six may be the children of Gawin and Jane of Tullyrap.
