Elizabeth Jane Lowry

Elizabeth was born in 1814 in Drumcrow, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal, Ireland.

Elizabeth's father was John Lowry and her mother was Elizabeth Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Lowry and Margaret or Mary Rogers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, Henry, Margaret, Charlotte and Caroline. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 82 on May 21st, 1896 in Drumearn, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal.

- Source: She is mentioned in Henry Alexander Lowry's will as "my sister Eliza" which suggest she is unmarried in 1882. On 14th July 1896, the will of Elizabeth Jane Lowry, of Drumearn, spinster, died 21st May 1896, was probated to Elizabeth Wilson, Jane Wilson and Caroline Wilson, all of Drumearn, spinsters and executrixes. They were her nieces
