Eliza Ann was born on February 5th, 1880 in St. Johnston, Taughboyne Pa., Co. Donegal.1   Eliza Ann's father was Gawn Lowry and her mother was Fanny Edwards.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew (St. Johnston) Lowry and <Unknown>.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named David, William John, Anne, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She had two half-brothers named Andrew and William.
