Charlotte Lowry

Charlotte was born in 1828.

Birth Notes
- Roz says, "She died on 12 October 1895, at which time her age was given as 76 (which would mean she was born in around 1819); this time her parents were given as John Henry Lowry, landowner, and Elizabeth Lowry formerly Hamilton." Marriage cert and birth certs of children put her DoB at 1828.

Charlotte's father was John Lowry and her mother was Elizabeth Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Lowry and Margaret or Mary Rogers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, Henry, Elizabeth, Margaret and Caroline. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 67 on October 12th, 1895.

General Notes
- Wendy Lowry wrote, "I had an email out of the blue from this lady called Roz who I believe is in Australia.
  She had seen my query on some notice board and sent me a line saying that she is descended from John Henry Lowry and Elizabeth Hamilton as well.
  Her line goes back to a Charlotte Lowry who on her marriage certificate names the above names as her parents. Her marriage was in 1859 here in Victoria and on the property of Dr Thomas Wilson and his wife Margaret who we know is Margaret Lowry sister to my John Hamilton Lowry. This Charlotte died in 1895. Roz says that her death certificate states that she was born in Drumcrow Donegal.
