Anne Kirkwood

Anne was born on January 8th, 1843 in The Grove (Woodtown)Desertoghil Pa., Co. Londonderry and her baptism took place on March 9th, 1843 in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church, Kilrea Pa..¹ Anne's father was William Kirkwood and her mother was Nancy Stewart. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Kirkwood and Jane Barber; her maternal grandparents were James Stewart and Betty Fulton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Robert, Eliza, Matilda and Maria. She was the third oldest of the six known children.
