William John Irwin

William was born on September 26th, 1859 in Carnroe, Aghadowey Pa., Co. Londonderry.¹ William's father was Samuel Irwin and his mother was Margaret Stewart. His paternal grandparents were William Irwin and Jane; his maternal grandparents were John Stewart and Sarah Craig. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Sarah, Jane, Martha, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth and Rachel. He died at the age of 23 in September 1882 in Gortin, Aghadowey Pa., Co. Londonderry.²
