Jane was born in 1830 in Gorton Coolhill, Aghadowey Parish, Co. Londonderry, Ireland.1  Jane's father was Rankin Hogg and her mother was Elizabeth Perry.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 85 on December 10th, 1915 in Albert Park, Victoria, Australia.  Her burial was on January 6th, 1916 in Cobram, Victoria, Australia.2
