Jane Gordon

Jane was born about 1823 in Lislea, Kilrea Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and her baptism took place about 1823 in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church, Kilrea Pa..¹ Jane's father was George Gordon and her mother was Jane Stewart. Her maternal grandparents were James Stewart and Catherine Stewart. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Stewart, Archibald, Archibald, Hugh, William, Catherine and Maria. She was the oldest of the nine children.
