Archibald Gordon

Archibald was born on March 7th, 1833 in Lislea, Kilrea Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and his baptism took place on March 31st, 1833 in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church, Kilrea Pa..¹ Archibald's father was George Gordon and his mother was Jane Stewart. His maternal grandparents were James Stewart and Catherine Stewart. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Stewart, Archibald, Hugh, William, Jane, Catherine and Maria. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
