Margaret was born in September 1852 in Dullaghy, Desertoghil Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland and her baptism took place on October 29th, 1852 in Boveedy Presbyterian Church.  Margaret's father was James Cooke and her mother was Ellen Gilmore.  She had a sister named Sarah.  She was the older of the two known children.  She died at the age of 65 on August 6th, 1918 in Boveedy, Tamlaght O'Crilly Pa., Co. Londonderry, Ireland.  Her burial was in Boveedy Cemetery.1
